A Morrisdale teenager died early yesterday in a fire that destroyed the home he was living in. The West Branch high school student has been identified as 17 year old Asher Deets. Reportedly nearly 75 firefighters fought the blaze on the 4900 block of Morrisdale Allport Highway in Morris Township, Clearfield County. Efforts were made to save the teen but firefighters were turned back due to the intense heat of the blaze. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
