The annual drive-by giving day held last Friday in front of the studios at Lightner Communications in Altoona, was a success. Over ten thousand dollars in cash, toys, food and other items was raised. This yearly event is aimed at helping local families and children, who are in need during the holidays, and are administered thru Family Services Inc., of Altoona. Management and staff of Lightner Communications wishes to thank Family Services Inc., along with all who so graciously donated. The event was presented by Five Star Mitsubishi along with Best Way Pizza of Greenwood, Altoona and Hollidaysburg.
