Governor Shapiro says a demonstration near an Israeli-owned restaurant was anti-Semitic. His comments came Monday after protestors gathered in Philadelphia Sunday afternoon to rally against the bombardment of Gaza. The demonstrators reportedly could be heard chanting outside the Goldie Falafel shop, which is owned by American Israeli chef Michael Solomonov. The governor said at a news conference Monday that “The purposeful gathering of a mob outside of a restaurant simply because it is owned by a Jewish person is antisemitism, plain and simple.”
