U.S. Representative Glenn Thompson of Centre County has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The Howard resident made the announcement yesterday noting that while the diagnosis was a surprise, he feels well enough to continue his work for Pennsylvania’s 15th District. His district includes Centre, and 14 other counties. Thompson chairs the House Agriculture Committee, and is currently serving his 8th term.
