As we have entered the holiday season, this week’s “Local Song of the Week” is a new wintry creation/adaptation by Lilla Jul Rockeband, the Christmas season side project of MauveStrom, the classic rock performance class growing out of the Clair Brothers Music Business Technology program at Millersville University. Each holiday season, Lilla Jul Rockeband presents a new song creation and video – this year’s creation is “Winter Holiday,” a winter season adaptation of Slade’s 1984 hit song “Run Runaway.” Refitted with holiday season lyrics and a lot of Christmas cheer, this song features Millersville University students as well as kids from the Lancaster School District. The song and video are directed and produced by Dr. Barry Atticks, the director and creator of the Clair Brothers Music Business Technology major at Millersville University.
