The University of Pennsylvania’s president has resigned. The school announced the departure of Liz Magill Saturday afternoon after she was reportedly under pressure from donors, and was criticized over her testimony to a Congressional hearing. She spoke last week before The House Committee on Education and the Workforce and was unable to say that calls on campus for the genocide of Jews would violate the school’s conduct policy. The university is now under investigation as a result.  A statement from the University says Magill will remain on faculty at the university’s law school and will stay on as Penn’s leader until an interim president can be named.
