Governor Josh Shapiro has signed the remaining bills on issues affecting the state’s budget. Pennsylvania lawmakers finalized a deal Wednesday to tie up most of the loose ends for the 2023-24 fiscal year. The plan features huge tax credit increases for child care expenses as well as for private school tuition. It also will allow stipends of up to 15-thousand-dollars for student teachers and 25-hundred dollars for teacher mentors.
