Pa., House Back to Equal Political Divide After Democratic Lawmaker Resigns

The political balance in the state house is now evenly split again after a Democratic lawmaker from Bucks County stepped down Thursday. The divide currently sets at 101 Republicans and 101 Democrats. The resignation of Representative John Galloway also sets up another special election to determine the chamber’s majority. That will be held February 13th. The chamber doesn’t have any votes scheduled until mid-March.
