The death of a state prison inmate at SCI Smithfield in Huntingdon is under investigation. 39 year old John Diehl was pronounced dead in his cell earlier this week, just days after arriving at the prison. Diehl was reportedly serving a 2-4 year sentence for burglary in Armstrong County. Pennsylvania State Police are conducting an investigation.
