Pennsylvania’s Agriculture Secretary wants to remind you that state dog licenses need to be purchased by January first.  A news release from Russell Redding admonishes pet owners that “If you love your dog, license your dog.” He says getting a license is both a legal requirement and can help bring a lost pup home more quickly. All dogs three months and older need to have their tags.  Licenses can be purchased for just under nine-dollars through county treasurers’ offices. Fines for unlicensed dogs range from 50 to 300-dollars, plus court costs.
