Holiday travel on state highways is expected to be a little more crowded this year. Officials with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission say more than five-million drivers will use the road between December 22nd and January 1st. That’s a two percent increase in volume from last year. The Turnpike’s 564 miles will be the most congested today and then again next Friday, December 29th.
