A 32 year old Claysburg man is behind bars today after being accused of stalking and raping a teenage girl on Christmas Eve. Keith Morse was arraigned on Christmas Day on felony charges of rape, strangulation, sexual assault and numerous other charges. According to the Greenfield Township Police, officers were sent to an apartment in Claysburg to make contact with a 15 year old girl who was listed as a runaway. While there, officers spoke to a man who said the girl had been raped and needed help. While walking outside with police, the girl saw Morse smoking and told the officer that Morse had raped her. Unable to post bail, Morse was sent to the Blair County Prison. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 4th.
