State Police were out in force over the holiday weekend looking for impaired drivers. Last week they announced that DUI checkpoints will be in place over the next several weeks thru-out the Commonwealth. Be looking for them, particularly along major roads in the northeastern part of the state. Troopers say the state is taking a zero tolerance approach to enforcement. The move comes as state officials say they’re tracking an uptick in DUI-related traffic violations and accidents.
