State health officials say they’re concerned about a spike in the number of people who are trying to fight off more than one respiratory virus at the same time. They say people fighting the flu and COVID could strain hospital capacities. The good news is that reports of RSV are starting to decrease in Pennsylvania. Some experts say the respiratory cases are increasing because of unvaccinated people at holiday gatherings and a new COVID strain that spreads easily.
