Peoples Natural Gas has filed a request with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission for a base rate increase to support their Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Plan. The improvement plan involves replacing aging pipelines while decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. If approved, this would be the company’s first increase in nearly 5 years.
