Relief from flooding issues may finally be coming to help those residents who live in Gaysport. Nearly seven hundred thousand dollars in grants has been awarded to Hollidaysburg Borough for stormwater projects. The borough plans to use part of the money to buy nearly 8 acres of the 68-acre Stowell Farm in Gaysport to construct the stormwater facility that should resolve flooding issues that have been a problem in Gaysport for decades. A public hearing regarding rezoning Stowell Farm is planned for Jan 11th.
