The Biden Administration’s National Park Service plans on removing a statue of Pennsylvania’s founder William Penn from a park in Philadelphia that honors Penn. In its place, more memorials to American Indians will be installed. The “rehabilitation” reportedly is meant to make the park more welcoming and inclusive for all visitors. The National Park Service is asking for public feedback beginning today thru Jan. 17th. William Penn, who was a Quaker, was historically known to believe Native Americans should be treated with dignity and respect.
