More charges have been filed against a Centre County journalist accused of having sexual communications with an FBI agent he believed to be a teenager. 54 year old Christopher Morelli of Pleasant Gap is now accused of providing alcohol and sending sexual messages to a 14 year old girl who was on a Bellefonte youth soccer team he coached in 2011. He allegedly tried to contact the girl numerous times but she did not respond. He was denied bail and is currently in the Centre County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is slated for January 17th. Morelli had been a long time journalist, and had been editor of the Centre County Gazette when he was arrested last month. Police are continuing to investigate this case.
