A Centre County woman is in jail today after she allegedly attacked two individuals in her home. Police have identified her as 33 year old Amber Shay of Moshannon. Police say Shay was reportedly drinking alcohol at her home when an argument over a cowboy hat began. She reportedly thru the victim on the bed, ripping off the hat, and choking the victim. Police say Shay’s husband intervened at which time she allegedly grabbed a shotgun and threatened to shoot him and the other victim. Shay is facing a number of offenses including a felony for strangulation. She is currently is the Centre County Jail with her bail having been denied.
