A Blair County man is in prison, after he was arrested by the Altoona Police Department for allegedly being involved in the theft of two million dollars in cash. Full details are unknown at this time, but authorities say they arrested Andrew Booker last Friday at a home in Antis Township along Bell Tip Road. Authorities with the Altoona Police, State Police, Bellwood Police and The Office of the Attorney General, reportedly executed search warrants at homes located at 229 21st Avenue in Altoona and 331 Bell Tip Road in Antis Township, after a nearly year-long investigation. Altoona Police say numerous assets were seized from both locations. Booker has been charged with felony theft, among various other charges. Police say they will be conducting more search warrants in the future.
