The dispute over whether so-called “skill games” are actually illegal games of chance is apparently headed to the Supreme Court. PlayPennsylvania-dot-com reports a previous ruling by a commonwealth court opens the floodgates for unlicensed, unregulated, unlawful slot machines under the banner of “skill games.” In that conclusion, the Commonwealth Court judges sided with a Dauphin County judge who’d found that the machines are primarily games of skill and not gambling devices.
