A number of rescue crews in Bedford County were called to the scene of a car accident/ water rescue near the Juniata River in Everett Borough. The one vehicle accident occurred Wednesday evening after a car crashed over a 60 foot embankment. Reportedly one individual had to be extricated, and due to the steepness of the embankment, a water rescue had to be performed. Crews were on the scene for several hours.
