A former librarian with the Saxton Community Library in Bedford County has been accused of stealing 40 thousand dollars from the library. 45 year old Kristy Williams is facing 65 felony counts each of theft, forgery and receiving stolen property. Last December, investigators were contacted by a library official in regards to the theft of funds. After an audit, investigators say they found Williams had allegedly written over 61 thousand dollars in checks out to herself. A little over 20 thousand of that has been accounted for. In December, Williams reportedly admitted to taking the money and the library board fired her.
