An Altoona man is behind bars today after he allegedly poured gasoline on a home, and threatened a man with a knife. Altoona Police have identified him as 31 year old Amedeo Perini who allegedly started to argue with the victim outside of a home located along 1st Street in Altoona. He reportedly began pouring gasoline on the home, threatening to burn it down, and when the victim knocked the gasoline can out of his hands, Perini allegedly then pulled out a knife and began swinging it at the victim. Perini has been charged with felony counts of arson and aggravated assault, and is currently in the Blair County Prison.
