A 19 year old Altoona woman is behind bars today, and facing charges after lunging at a bystander with a blade after getting into an argument. Arrested was Daysha LaPenna who has been charged with theft, robbery and possessing an instrument of crime for an incident that occurred at an apartment building on Lloyd Street last month. Authorities say LaPenna got into an argument with a woman and as she was leaving took the woman’s phone. When a man, who was at the same apartment, tried to get the phone back, LaPenna allegedly took out a blade and lunged at him. Police then requested a warrant for her arrest. LaPenna was arraigned yesterday and has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of bail.
