Sheetz continues to expand its reach beyond the borders of Pennsylvania. The convenience store chain reportedly plans more specific locations in western North Carolina. The next store is to be located in Fletcher, along Highway 25. This comes after Sheetz revealed in November that it was opening several other locations in the Asheville, North Carolina area for the first time. Sheetz initially started in Altoona, Pennsylvania and only has a few other North Carolina locations. As of December of last year, there were 674 Sheetz stores in the United States, located in six states.
