An Altoona man who confessed to stabbing his mother to death has reportedly been extradited back to Blair County. 30 year old Joshua Leyo is now currently in the Blair County Prison after being discharged from the Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Police say Leyo reportedly confessed to killing his mother, Maureen Mazenko, on Valentine’s Day following an argument, in their Altoona home. Leyo was later tracked to the Pittsburgh International Airport where he injured himself after jumping from the second story of a parking garage. He currently awaits a preliminary hearing on numerous charges including murder and aggravated assault.
