The Pa., based Hershey Company has disclosed what it paid, for a pair of popcorn factories in its growing snack business.  The chocolate company bought the two facilities in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Whitestown, Indiana for just under 166-million dollars.  The factories had been owned by Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing, which was a co-maker for Hershey’s SkinnyPop popcorn brand. Hershey’s total revenue last year was reported to be just over 11-billion dollars, up from nearly ten-and-a-half billion in 2022.
