Over a million-dollars is now available in state grants to help first responders pay for EMS training. Acting Secretary of Health Doctor Debra Bogen says the funding is vital to support those who want to enhance their life-saving skills. It will be available to certified first responders beginning July 1st. Those include emergency medical responders, emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians and paramedics.
