A State College man has been arrested after he was accused of forcefully slapping the back of his infant son and then throwing him on a bed. 30 year old Kyuhuyong Park is charged with felony child endangerment, among other charges. Authorities say Park grew frustrated that his seven week old child was not falling asleep and slapped him hard on his back ten times, and then threw him on a bed. Worried about the child’s safety, the mother took him to Mount Nittany Medical Center where the baby was treated and released yesterday. Park was arraigned on Wednesday and was placed in the Centre County Prison on $20,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 6th.
