A Clearfield County woman has been arrested after homemade explosives were found in a backpack on the 600 block of Williams Street in Clearfield on February 25th. Arrested was 46 year old Brandi Boris who has been charged with manufacturing weapons of mass destruction, possession of drug paraphernalia and numerous other counts. Police say when they searched her backpack they found four improvised explosive devices and materials to make them, along with drug paraphernalia. A search at Boris’ home also yielded tools used to make explosives. She was taken into custody by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office, and placed in the Clearfield County Prison. Her bail has been set at $1 million.
