Backslide In Childhood Insurance in PA

The number of Pennsylvania children without insurance has been steadily climbing over the past few years.  A report by the Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children says about 145-thousand kids are currently missing health insurance.  The rate ticked up from four-point-four-percent in 2021 to five-point-two-percent just a year later.  The report speculates that number will continue to decrease as more coverage offered during COVID continues to be phased out.
