Looks like pickleball will be coming to Duncansville. Last night, Borough Council committed $4,000 to convert unused tennis courts at Memorial Park to three new pickleball courts. The funding reportedly is coming from existing capital development reserves in the borough parks and recreation budget. The money will be used to purchase three sets of pickleball nets, a racket storage shed and paint to draw up the new courts. The improvements at Memorial Park are a part of a rejuvenation effort of the facility.
