The nightmare is over for a deer just northwest of Pittsburgh, in Ohio Township, that spent weeks with a plastic container on its head. Couple Lisa and Matt Mertz say they were able to catch the animal and pull the jug off yesterday morning. The Pennsylvania Game Commission sent officials out looking for the deer several times over the last three weeks, but they were not able to catch up with it. The deer could not eat or drink with what appeared to be a plastic pretzel container completely covering its head.
