Vote on Pennsylvania’s Ban on Sunday Hunting Moves to Full Senate

By a vote of 8 to 3, a state Senate panel has approved legislation that would drop the longstanding ban on Sunday hunting. With that action, the measure moves on to a vote in the full Senate.  In 2018, legislation was adopted that allowed hunting only on three Sundays a year. But advocates kept pushing for a broader measure. Now, supporters argue that Sunday hunting will boost local economies and create more opportunities for hunters.
