A coalition of bi-partisan lawmakers is developing a measure that would give Vietnam Vets a state holiday. If passed, House Resolution 336 would create “Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day” on March 29th. That’s the date that the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration honors Vietnam veterans, too. Information from the resolution says over 31-hundred Pennsylvanians died during the Vietnam War. In total, the war claimed the lives of 58-thousand U.S. military personnel.
