Pennsylvania motorists entered the weekend with lower prices at the pump. As reported by Triple-A, the average price for a gallon of regular inched downward on Friday to a couple of tenths under three dollars, 64 cents, this as the corresponding national figure declined to just under three fifty-four. The lowest prices were found in Mississippi, where the Magnolia State average dipped slightly on Friday to just over three oh eight. At the other end of the gas-price spectrum, costs were up in California at one half of one cent over five oh four.
