A Bedford County couple, charged with hoarding nearly 100 animals have both made bail. 81 Nyal and 63 year old Renee Piper had their bail reduced last month, from one million to $250,000 each. Both of them face 99 felony charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, torture, neglect of animals and numerous other counts. Charges were filed after nearly 100 animals were rescued from their Bedford County Home on New Year’s Eve. Many of the animals were in cages, stacked on top of one another and living in deplorable conditions.
