Two Johnstown residents, have been arrested in Altoona, for selling drugs. Last month city police were called to the 900 block of 6th Avenue regarding a man who was found unconscious behind the wheel of a car. He was identified as 20 year old Elijah Giardina. Inside his vehicle were various drugs and drug paraphernalia. It was later learned he had multiple warrants for his arrest, one of which was fleeing a traffic stop in Johnstown. Also found in the backseat of his car was a 24 year old unconscious woman. She reportedly told authorities that she and Girdina traveled to Philadelphia numerous times to buy drugs and then sell them in Altoona. Giardina has been charged with numerous charges including felony counts of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities. Charges are also pending against the woman for similar offenses. Giardina has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
