State authorities are still investigating what sent 41 students to the hospital last week from North Star High School in Somerset. At first it was thought the students suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning, but following numerous tests no dangerous chemicals or gases were found. In a press release, the school district said it will continue to work with local and state officials, and continue the investigation into the medical emergencies that occurred last week. The district plans to release more information as it becomes available.
