An 18 year old DuBois Area High School student has been charged with stealing more than $2,000 from a memorial scholarship fund and an art club, allegedly telling authorities he felt a “thrill” to see if he could get away with it. He’s been identified as Colton Barrett, who reportedly took the money on March 28th. Barrett is facing charges of burglary, theft and criminal trespass. He has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison in lieu of bail. His preliminary hearing is slated for April 24th.
