Pittsburgh Mother Leaves Kids at Home to Shoplift in Altoona

A Pittsburgh woman allegedly left her children at home and headed to Altoona where she was arrested on Wednesday for shoplifting at Boscov’s. She’s been identified as 33 year old Shawntinia Starks. After she was arrested she reportedly told police she had left her five children at home. It was also discovered that Starks was found to have a warrant from both Allegheny and Beaver Counties. She was arraigned on retail theft and resisting arrest and has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
