A 32 year old Altoona woman is facing charges after she reportedly left her four young children home alone while she attended a drug and alcohol convention in Ocean City, Maryland over the weekend. Authorities say Jasmine Snyder left last Friday and was scheduled to return on Monday. Police were contacted Sunday evening after the young children were found walking the street. Police later learned that the oldest child, who is 13, had been left to care for the other three. Upon further investigation the home was discovered to be filthy, and food was all over the floor. Snyder was arraigned Monday afternoon on numerous counts of child endangerment. She was released on unsecured bail.
