A domestic situation in Richland Township yesterday that resulted in an hours-long standoff, ended peacefully, with the suspect in custody. Richland Township Police were alerted to a domestic situation yesterday morning. When authorities responded, they were told that a man who was allegedly involved, took off, armed with a handgun. The unidentified man was later found at a home on Banyon Drive, and reportedly refused to meet with officers. Police were finally able to talk the man into surrendering. An investigation continues and charges are pending.
