Fire damaged a Penn State storage facility last evening. Both the Alpha Fire Department and Penn State Police responded to the fire. When crews arrived they discovered a fire in the back of a commercial building owned by Penn State, on the 100 block of Coal Alley. Only minor damage was reported. The portion of the building that caught fire is attached to a popular downtown music store called Rainbow Music, which did not suffer any damage. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
