The final phase of a rail trail project in Bedford County will move forward, thanks to funding from PennDOT. The H&BT Rail Trail in Broad Top Township will receive funding for the final extension of the trail between linking two sections near Riddlesburg and Saxton. The project is one of 55 across Pennsylvania receiving funds to improve public access and community resources. The statewide funding totals more than 49-point-five million dollars.
