A 29 year old Somerset County man has been arrested for stealing a car on April 11th. Thomas Yanosky is facing felony theft charges, and other related offenses for stealing the car from the 700 block of E Main Street in Somerset. The car was found 3 days later at a home on North Center Avenue where Yanosky was reportedly hiding. While police were there, Yanosky went to the roof of the home and jumped off, and began running from authorities. He was nabbed 35 minutes later. Yanosky already had numerous active warrants thru the Somerset County D.A.’s office. A preliminary hearing is slated for May 14th.
