Two Bedford County people are facing charges today for allegedly abusing a one year old girl. 45 year old Lee Ott of Woodbury and 22 year old Jamie Williams of Six Mile Run are facing felony charges of endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault of a victim less and then six, and numerous other counts. The child was taken to UPMC in Altoona and was treated for bruising and scratching. The child was then transferred to UPMC Children’s Hospital where doctors discovered extensive bruising on her face and body. On March 10th, a doctor at UPMC Pittsburgh ruled the injuries as consistent with child abuse. Both Ott and Williams are in the Bedford County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. Their preliminary hearing is May 15th.
