A Bellwood man is behind bars today after he allegedly brandished a gun during a domestic dispute on Friday. Authorities say 24 year old Dylan Packer was arraigned on felony charges of possessing a firearm among numerous other offenses as a result of a domestic incident that occurred early Friday morning at a residence on Railroad Street. Reportedly Packer was playing music excessively loud and when a woman inside the home asked him to turn the music down he is alleged to have come out of his room with an AR-15 rifle. Officers from both Bellwood and Tyrone responded to the scene after the woman called for help. Police searched Parker’s room and located a 60-round magazine, and an AR-15 rifle with no serial numbers. Packer has been placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 14th.
