A Clearfield County woman is facing charges after she reportedly abandoned a dog in a shopping cart in the parking lot of Walmart in Clearfield. Police say on March 31st, 53 year old Diana Colella of Lewis Run, placed the dog in the cart and then drove off. Authorities say the dog had to receive medical treatment. Colella faces charges of animal cruelty and neglect.
